Q. Which areas do you cover?
A. We currently cover Ashford, Canterbury, Faversham, Whitstable
and surrounding villages.
Q. Is my Maid Insured?
A. Yes, your Maid carries full public liability insurance for
£1,000,000. There is an excess of £100 on all claims.
Q. Can I specify which day(s) my Maid visits?
A. Yes, though some flexibility is sometimes required.
Q. Is there a minimum number of hours per Maid visit?
A. Yes. There is a minimum of 2 ½ hours for daily or weekly visits and
3 hours for fortnightly visits.
Q. Do I have to sign up to a lengthy contract?
A. No. You can terminate your Maid service at any time by giving us 30 days notice in writing.
Q. Is my Maid employed by Premier Maids Direct?
A. No, your Maid is self-employed.
Q. Can I meet the Maid prior to assignment?
A. Yes, we can arrange a meeting at a time to suit you.
Q. Do I have to be at home when my Maid visits?
A. No, your Maid can provide a secure key holding service.
Q. Do I have to pay my Maid if I take a holiday and do not require my
usual Maid service?
A. No, you do not have to pay your Maid. However, you do continue to pay
your usual service management fee.
Q. Can my Maid provide more than one service?
A. Yes, your Maid can provide various services on any visit to suit your
requirements. The services include, but are not limited to, Cleaning,
Ironing, Laundry, Shopping and Pet Services.
Q. Who provides the cleaning materials, products and equipment?
A. Your Maid will provide the cleaning materials and products.
The client should provide the required equipment i.e., Hoover, Mop,
Broom etc. and, if required, furniture polish.
Q. Will I have the same Maid on every visit?
A. Yes, you will have the same Maid on each visit unless you ask for a
replacement.
Q. What if the specific Maid service I require is not listed?
A. Please contact us with your request and we will endeavour to meet your
requirements.
